A New Chapter

Sky Blue Seed marks my first blogging journey with my 2 girls - what started out as documenting the simple everyday happenings of our family turned into something even more wonderful. Thank you so much to all those who have followed my blog from its humble beginnings! I so appreciate every comment and word of encouragement you have given!

Baby Olivia - Newborn Session

Welcome to the world little Olivia~

Danny and Corina told me that Olivia would sometimes laugh and smile right before she fell asleep....for a newborn that young to laugh audibly is pretty rare and I didn't believe them... until I heard her give the biggest belly laugh and smile at her parents. So amazing! Days old and already so full of joy!

and thanks for hanging out behind the lens 

(despite massive sleep deprivation)!

Yes, I shot this with a tripod last minute for our Christmas cards, 

and yes, we were FREEZING in this photo, as you can tell by our expressions!

But I was determined to be in the frame 

because one of my goals this year is to take more photos WITH my girls,

not just of them.
