A recent trip up to Huntington Beach to walk the pier...
It was a moody gray day... these images make me want to curl up on a couch, sip a piping hot cup of coffee (Americano with cream please) and listen to some Coldplay. Or wear an Eeyore costume.
C'mon, you know you want to too.
Actually, I really did listen to this song by Coldplay on repeat while going through these photos! Can you tell?
Have a great Monday everyone~

Sweet Sixteen - Full Post
From the purple decorations (her daughter's favorite color) to the tons of family and friends that she invited, Yadira threw such a great party for her daughter Jaslin!
There was a lot of hugging, laughing and dancing all night - so fun!
Thank you Yadira and Jaslin for letting me be part of your special night!

when his hands are empty."

Growing up
Photo from this past February...
My girls are growing up way too fast for me....
The other day Naomi asked me what I would be when I grow up.
(She's decided she wants to either be a doctor or "police girl".)
I told her, "I think I'll be your mommy forever and ever."
To which she replied with exasperation,
"No Mommy, you can't, because I won't be Naomi anymore. I'll be Dr. Hayoung!" (Hayoung is her Korean name.)
I was kinda sad. Way to squash my dreams kid.
I said, "Ok then, I guess I'll be a photographer... since you'll be Dr. Hayoung."
"Okay Mommy, that sounds good."
Glad my 4 year old approves.
Have a great weekend friends~

Lee Family - Full Post
The Lees are close to my heart.
Maybe it's the fact that we both have two little girls...or that I know I can tell Anna anything and she will pray for me...or that John always asks my husband how he's doing....in any case, it was a huge privilege for me to take their family photos!
Since little Kate is celebrating her first birthday soon and Anna didn't have any recent pictures with all of them together (can anyone relate?), family photos were in order.
Ellie was the helpful big sister and had many ideas on what kind of photos she wanted! (She really wanted to take a picture with these red flowers and gave me such a sweet smile, I couldn't resist - Ellie, I hope you approve!)
