{the JOY of LOVE} : Day 28 (final)
Today's theme: Future
“Listen to the mustn'ts, child.
Listen to the don'ts.
Listen to the shouldn'ts, the impossibles, the won'ts.
Listen to the never haves, then listen close to me...
Anything can happen, child. Anything can be.”
- Shel Silverstein
One of my favorite poets when I was growing up....I hope Naomi will enjoy reading him as much as I did!

Thanks friends for joining me on Willette's Joy Of Love project this whole month~
I've learned so much from Willette, the enormous talent that is out there, and most importantly, capturing the JOY of everyday moments!
Hope to keep on capturing the precious ordinary on this blog :)

{the JOY of LOVE} : Day 26 and 27
Playing catch up...
Day 26: Bromance or Best friend
Didn't have a recent photo of Tim with his friends, but here is one I like of him and our good friend Tony (taken last month).
Tony is originally from Seattle like us, but moved down to LA a couple of years before we did with his wife, Janet. He's been one of several people who have really encouraged me in my photography (he shoots professionally - check out his work here) and has been awesome-ly generous with his wisdom and advice...this photo is missing P.Yoou...will have to remember to get a shot of all the guys next time.

and another take on Day 26...
Best friends
(whether they like it or not! haha. This was shot today right before their nap.)

and finally,
Day 27: What They Say
Noelle is ALWAYS saying "Mamma" which in Korean means "food"! Here she is with her beloved snack trap, chomping on some blueberries. This girl doesn't mess around when it comes to snacks!

{the JOY of LOVE} : Day 25
a day behind...
Today's theme: When You Love Them the Most
I love that Tim is a great father.
He knows how to play with them and give them his undivided attention. Doesn't talk on the phone, text, watch TV, or surf the net when he's playing with the girls but is fully present...it's hard to do these days with all the technology surrounding us.
Here's a shot from this morning...

{the JOY of LOVE} : Day 24
Today's theme: Where
Where did you first meet your loved one?
I first met Tim at a church camp back in Seattle when I was 14....
but decided to take this shot since we're nowhere near there :)
Overlake Starbucks, Valentine's Day 2005
First time that Tim tried to tell me he likes me after 10 years as just 'friends'.
Honey, I knew it had to be...

{the JOY of LOVE} : Day 23
Today's theme: Facebook
What is your favorite Facebook photo?
Took a stroll down memory lane, looking at all my old albums on FB...sometimes the best photos aren't the ones with the greatest composition, sharpest focus and brightest colors....sometimes it's just the memory the image brings!
So here is my favorite - a photo of me and Naomi taken on my Mac Photobooth app. She is a little under 2 years old here, before we moved from Seattle to CA.
I've taken a bunch of these photos on my Mac over the past 4 years...our family has grown from just the two of us to now four! Here is our family in the raw! :)

{the JOY of LOVE} : Day 20
Today's theme: When They're Home
What is the house like when your loved ones are home?
Here is Naomi having some juice with 'friends'...ahhh, so nice and quiet....

then Daddy comes home...
and the volume level in the house goes wa-----y up!
Shrieks and giggles everywhere. (Mommy needs some Advil please.)
(This play session ended with the two girls bumping heads on accident and crying...typical of how most play sessions end in this house!)
