Three Cheers!
Schools out!
My husband is currently knocked out on the floor after this lo-ng week of hitting the books.
I figured a little celebration dance on the bed was in order.

Noelle is currently hard at work learning how to climb on the bed by herself.
(If you lean into your computer, you can probably hear her grunting.)

I did it!
And now I have sweaty hair, woo hoo~!
Time to celebrate again!
On a serious note,
here is Naomi's rendition of a disguise.
Her finger mustache.
(Looking serious adds to the mystery.)
Where did Naomi go?
If you find her, give me a call.
Have a great week everyone~

What I do...
..when it's finals week?
oh, blog of course.
A little peek into a recent date with Tim...
Breakfast at the Filling Station Cafe in Orange, a visit to LACMA and a quick stop at MILK....unfortunately, I had a random case of food poisoning (?) and was literally throwing up at the end of our date (my husband is one lucky guy).
But you know what? I still had a lot of fun just being out with Tim and snapping away on my camera!

A little Andy Warhol...
(Tim making a phone call to make sure our girls hadn't terrorized the sitters too much.)
Thankful to Stella, Annie and Michele who watched the kids for us!
Can't wait for our next excursion~
(And to all those students studying away, you can do it!)

Garden of Eden
A recent weekend visit to the UC Irvine Farmer's Market.
It was a blustery gray day in Irvine, but everyone was still out buying their fruits and veggies.
Bought some freshly popped kettle corn and strawberries for the girls (ok, it was mostly for us) and took a nice leisurely walk through the stalls.
Loved all the yummy fresh samples, live music, and the hustle and bustle of a Saturday morning.
Lest you think we are healthy eaters who only buy fresh organic food, I will let you know that after this walk, we promptly drove to an In-N-Out and ordered "cheeseburgers- animal-style-easy-on-the-spread please."

A life well lived
"I want to leave a legacy
How will they remember me?
Did I choose to love?
Did I point to You enough
To make a mark on things?
I want to leave an offering
A child of mercy and grace who
blessed your name unapologetically
And leave that kind of legacy"
- Legacy, Nicole Nordeman
Some moments captured for a friend whose father recently passed away to be with Jesus.
The family gathered together after the memorial service to spend time together - for some of them, it was years since they had seen each other.
Grateful and honored to have seen this father's legacy in his children and grandchildren.
A life well lived is beautiful to witness.

Create
My favorite thing is when both girls quietly color....lovely.....
A lovely drawing of Tim and I....let me interpret this one for you.
Time to cut and glue .....
Snip snip
Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Pak!
Tim came home and I couldn't wait to do a face-to-face comparison.
(He is actually doing his Greek homework here, but I have no qualms about interrupting his theological education for a good laugh.)
I think I shall name him, "End Times Tim".
Here's a special piece by Naomi for your eyes only....
A lovely drawing of Tim and I....let me interpret this one for you.
Tim is on the left wearing all black.
Black is actually his favorite color. Morbid? Yes, I agree. But at least he wears it with a smile.
He is also in a sea of fiery red.
A little end times-ish but that's ok, I'm sure it has a positive meaning.
There I am on the right.
Apparently, I'm an Asian version of Anne of Green Gables and part unicorn. I did always have a thing for Gilbert Blythe.

I secretly love that she thoughtfully gave me a nice nose, while Tim has none.
I am also in a sea of fiery red.
Very interesting.

(Take that Flat Stanley!)
In all seriousness, there is nothing more fun than looking at kids' drawings and seeing how they interpret the world!
Have a wonderful Thursday everyone~

In other news, my sweet friend Jane Chong is starting an exciting new venture~ check out her new event and design company! Lots of eye candy for those that love all things design.
If you are planning a wedding or birthday, she will beautify your entire event and coordinate every little detail - you can just sit back, relax and actually enjoy your celebration!
The amazing photos of her school-themed wedding makes me want to get married all over again (ok, almost, minus the stress!).
Wishing her the best of luck as she begins a new adventure~ love you Jane!
