Two Things
Love this picture of little N and her daddy...
She still loves to "fly"~
Lots of things to share in the upcoming months - some awesome family sessions, parties and life happenings - but first, two big things I'd like to announce!
1. We are moving back to Seattle!
So excited to share this piece of news although it is very bittersweet for us. California has truly become home for us these past several years.
For those of you that don't know, we moved to SoCal from Seattle almost three years ago for Tim's schooling... I was 8 months pregnant with our second daughter, Noelle, at the time and we went from two full-time incomes to one part-time income and two kids. It was truly a step of faith for us. It would've been easier to stay in Seattle, our comfort, with the help of our families there and secure incomes. But if there's anything I've learned in the past three years, it is the fact that God is our Provider and He is faithful.
As Tim graduates from Talbot this July and we move forward in ministry, we plan to be back in Seattle in August. And as any Seattlelite knows, August is when Seattle is in full glory - gorgeous weather and more gorgeous weather! Can't wait~
This brings me to my second piece of news~
2. I will still be doing photography.
I am so excited to announce that I get the privilege of joining an AMAZING team of photogs at GH Kim Photography starting in September!
Hun and Grace have been a long time source of inspiration, encouragement and support in my photography journey, and I'm honored to bring my love of capturing kids and family portraits to the GH Kim team. I will still be blogging away here at Sky Blue Seed of course - looking forward to documenting the adventure that awaits us as a family~
And if you're in the Seattle area and have been planning to take family pictures but have been putting it off, this is your year! Plan ahead for those Christmas cards and book a session for the Fall.
There is so much more to share about what lies ahead, but that's it for now... thank you for bearing through my wordy picture-starved post. I wish I could reach through my computer and give a big hug to all those here in SoCal who have been past clients, enthusiastic supporters and dear friends these past three years. It has been quite the ride, and I would do it all over again in a heart beat. My deepest thanks~

2012 Summer Calendar Update
It is almost May!

In other news, I've been overwhelmed (in a good way) by the amount of support and encouragement by so many of you who have inquired about photography sessions with me or have referred me to friends and family. I wish I could accept every single opportunity but I simply can't.
So here is my official announcement that my 2012 summer calendar is now full and I will not be accepting any more sessions until further notice. There are many new things in the works for Fall 2012, so please keep your ears open for what's ahead~ Thank you to all those who have inquired, I truly appreciate your support!

On the Pak household homefront, Noelle has now discovered her ability to climb out of her crib/playpen. In the world of parenting, this is what you call a gamechanger.
Demonstrating her monkey-like skills right after a nap. Hence the scraggly bangs. And mischievous grin.

I think life is about to get more 'exciting' with this new development. And by 'exciting' I mean, exciting for Noelle, not mommy.
Speaking of exciting, I have a new photography obsession: Instagram. (Yes, I know, welcome to yesterday.) I love seeing the images people capture in their day-to-day life using just their camera phone. Although I will still always post my personal photos on this blog, it's much easier to see a real-time capture of my everyday happenings through my instagram feed. If you're an Instagrammer, find me at sakop!
Hope everyone is having an awesome week~
Spring in SoCal is in full swing and I'm loving it, as are my girls. (Although my allergies don't. Claritin D is my friend these days.)
Here is Noelle contemplating her world domination over the ducks. Although this photo looks peaceful, she was actually yelling at them... "Come here duckies!!"... I'm not a big fan of birds, but even I felt sorry for them.

Yuri's First Birthday Party - Full Post
Little Yuri is one!
I enjoyed shooting her family session in the fields and was so excited to see her turn one at her birthday bash. Her mommy incorporated bunnies throughout the decor since Yuri was born in the year of the rabbit - so adorable - and left no detail overlooked. The party was held at the Sportsmen's Lodge in Studio City and was the perfect venue for this beautiful celebration.
Happy Birthday dear Yuri~ you are loved!
Enjoy~
