Koh Family Session - Sneak Peek

This post is long overdue, but here is a sneak peek of my awesome niece and nephew and the family session we did together back in Seattle...

Love the first picture because I didn't even ask him to smile...he just really adores his mommy!

Airplanes and Bowties

You won't find these things in my house... nope.
Everyday I'm up to my ears in tutus, princess shoes and baby strollers, so I'm always fascinated by boy accessories - newsboy caps, bowties and sweater vests - love it!


Here's a sneak peek at Joshua's 1 year old shoot in preparation for his upcoming airplane themed 1st birthday party. His little bowtie was adorable - this boy is gonna be a heartbreaker!


Joshua was also the first newborn shoot I ever did - so special to be able to capture his first moments and then celebrate his first year of life - enjoy!

And a trip down memory lane...

Any parent will tell you...that first year goes by SO fast!

First Day

Dear Naomi,
Today is your first day of preschool.
Mixed emotions .... happy for you, sad to see my baby growing up, wishing I could hold onto you a little longer...
Where did the time go? I still remember bringing you home from the hospital and all of a sudden you are 4 years old. 

Nowadays you say funny things like,

"Mommy, make it happen, let's go." 

or 

"I used to pick my nose...(pause).... Actually, I still pick my nose right now."

or

"Mommy, don't call me Naomi! Today, I'm Princess Marina!"

or 

"Mommy (sighing deeply), I think I'm going to need a cast." [shortly after getting a shot in your arm. Later on, you mentioned that a sling would work fine too.]

And last night, because you were feeling a little scared about your new school, you prayed, "God, please help me be thankful that I can go to school and help me not complain to Mommy and Daddy....". 

I know you will do great and you will love everything about preschool. You'll probably run into the room and not look back.

Just remember to give your mommy and little sis an extra big hug when we pick you up...

we will miss you more than you know!
