There is something about this age that pulls at my heartstrings - I think it's the sense of wonder that a one year old has about everything - from the wind, to the grass, to the birds in the sky. (All of these actually distract them from looking straight at me, so field sessions can be a challenge sometimes, but so fun at the same time!)
