one year can make...
I got my first dSLR camera as a gift near the end of 2009, fell in love with photography, and started this blog to document my girls...what a journey that has been.
The other day, I was reminded of the reason we take pictures in the first place when Tim asked Naomi, "Naomi, why does mommy takes pictures?"
She said, "So we can remember!"
So here's to another year of remembering - the lows and the highs and the ordinary but precious day-to-day in-between.
I'm reminded to make every minute count, especially with my girls - they are growing up too fast for mommy!
Happy New Year's everybody~

A peek...
into Christmas at the Pak house this year.
A little decorating...
A little baking...
and a whole lot of dancing...
(Christmas morning - Tim playing "Angels We Have Heard on High', a favorite of the girls.)
After a morning of eating, dancing, opening presents, my girls were due for a long nap.
Then off to Chino for dinner~
Yummy raspberry cheesecake bites courtesy of fellow blogger Jessica and dinner was made by the lovely Julie Pak. Thank you ladies~

Celebrating with food, presents, music and family are precious, but reminded again today at church that the reason we celebrate Christmas is truly about God in Christ coming to earth to be among us.
So although being away from family in Seattle was hard this year, I am comforted by the truth that He is Emmanuel and God is with me.
And God is with you too...
How precious a gift.
Merry Christmas to you and wishing everybody a happy ending to 2010~!

Special night
for Naomi..
Bright lights, a yummy drink and a late bedtime ..
(First time experimenting in manual mode w/o flash at night = fun and many blurry photos)

The moon looked so pure, high above all the gaudy lights....tiny but piercingly clear.
A reminder that God is truly the ultimate Creator and Artist and He never changes.

Super JJ Birthday Bash
JJ is growing up!
So of course, a super hero birthday party is in order~
From the hand-designed "Super JJ" logo, personalized hand-made capes, and a fun choose-your-own cereal bar, the Paks threw such a fun party for all the kids! The staff at "My Gym" was amazing and even let JJ fly around on the mini-zipline like he was Superman~ They really made it "his" special day.
To Super JJ:
"Happy 3rd Birthday! You are the cutest little Superhero we know!"
