Two Things

Fly

Love this picture of little N and her daddy...
She still loves to "fly"~

Lots of things to share in the upcoming months - some awesome family sessions, parties and life happenings - but first, two big things I'd like to announce!

1. We are moving back to Seattle!
So excited to share this piece of news although it is very bittersweet for us. California has truly become home for us these past several years.

For those of you that don't know, we moved to SoCal from Seattle almost three years ago for Tim's schooling... I was 8 months pregnant with our second daughter, Noelle, at the time and we went from two full-time incomes to one part-time income and two kids. It was truly a step of faith for us. It would've been easier to stay in Seattle, our comfort, with the help of our families there and secure incomes. But if there's anything I've learned in the past three years, it is the fact that God is our Provider and He is faithful.

As Tim graduates from Talbot this July and we move forward in ministry, we plan to be back in Seattle in August. And as any Seattlelite knows, August is when Seattle is in full glory - gorgeous weather and more gorgeous weather! Can't wait~

This brings me to my second piece of news~

2. I will still be doing photography.
I am so excited to announce that I get the privilege of joining an AMAZING team of photogs at GH Kim Photography starting in September!
Hun and Grace have been a long time source of inspiration, encouragement and support in my photography journey, and I'm honored to bring my love of capturing kids and family portraits to the GH Kim team. I will still be blogging away here at Sky Blue Seed of course - looking forward to documenting the adventure that awaits us as a family~

And if you're in the Seattle area and have been planning to take family pictures but have been putting it off, this is your year! Plan ahead for those Christmas cards and book a session for the Fall.

There is so much more to share about what lies ahead, but that's it for now... thank you for bearing through my wordy picture-starved post. I wish I could reach through my computer and give a big hug to all those here in SoCal who have been past clients, enthusiastic supporters and dear friends these past three years. It has been quite the ride, and I would do it all over again in a heart beat. My deepest thanks~
